ATT's version 2 of iPhone supports Microsoft's Direct Push Activesync which when configured properly will cause Exchange to push your email to your iPhone. Many report they actually receive incoming email to their phones before it appears in their Outlook or Outlook Express running on their Desktop or Notebook. In order to advantage of this service you must have an Exchange Email account. Several of our services do provide Exchange Email Accounts. The below is how to do it with our service.
If you have an iPhone and an Exchange Server Email account on our service, please contact our office to obtain the Exchange server name and domain.
- First on your iPhone go to this page and click on our Server Cert and install it on the phone.
- To setup the iPhone for Exchange, start by setting up an email account by tapping Settings, then tapping Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and then Add Account…, and choose Microsoft Exchange.
- You must have the correct information to complete the setup.
- Email: Enter your correct Email Address
- Server: Enter the Exchange server name
- Username: This must me entered in the form of domain\username
- Password: Passwords are case sensitive.
- Description: Any description you desire
- Use SSL: Leave set to on.
