 How to Configure Outlook Express Minimize

To configure Outlook Express with our service do the following:

  1. Open Outlook Express
    1. Go to Start at the bottom Left of your Screen and Click to popup the Start Menu
    2. Click on Programs
    3. Locate Outlook Express and click on it to open.
  2. If this is a new computer that has never been configured, the Wizard will start. In the Display Name enter the name you want to use with this account then Click on Next.  If the Wizard does not start then Outlook has already been setup for an account and you must go to Changing Outlook to remove old accounts before adding a new account.

 

3.  In the Email Address field enter your email address and click on next.

4.  In the incoming and outgoing field enter mail.arkansasusa.com.  Spelling is very important. a misspelled name will cause sending and receive to fail.  After verifying your spelling, click on next.

5.  Type your Account name and password.  Note about Account Name:  If you email address is @arkansasusa.com you need only put in what is to the left of @arkansasusa.com as your account name.  For example my email address is rokelley@arkanssusa.com so my account name would be rokelley.  If your email address is an address other than @arkansasusa.com then you must use your entire email address as your account name.  Note about Passwords:  Passwords are case sensitive.  If your password contains letters you must enter them in upper or lower case based upon how we have them on file.  Click on next.

6. This completes a new address setup using Outlook Express.  You may now send and receive email.  If sending and receiving fails, check our troubleshooting check list.
